Make Contact with a Texan in a Far-Away Land
One day there may be a contact form here. Not exactly high on the priority list, but we can all live in hope. Till then, please feel free to email the Padre (your friendly programme director / manager / DJ / web admin guy / etc. / etc.) at the address below. Sorry there's no direct email link; but the spam's just not worth it.
Mini-FAQ:
- Q: 'Splain t' me how this works, wouldja?
A: Just look at the email address below and remember it; then copy it into the 'To:' field of your favourite email client! This is known in the trade as the Turing Test ;)
- Q: That's a pretty cool effect. Was it hard to do? Did it take you long to do it?
A: Thanks. Actually, no; it wasn't and it didn't. Matter of fact, I'm wondering now how much JJ Abrams paid to have someone design the credits for Lost. I bet it was too much, and I wish I'd been in the running for that. But I wasn't. So don't forget to buy a bunch of TExR-branded crap from our merchandise page; it's sort of an informal pension plan.

Info for Artists and Suchlike
We accept submissions and demos. That doesn't guarantee you'll get airtime; but, yes, if we like your music and it fits in with what we're doing, we're happy to play unsigned and indie artists. Please contact us at the email above if you want to make a submission.
Here's how it works:
- Obviously we need a CD or good quality .mp3 files. If it's a full album, we prefer CDs; email us for a snail-mail address. If it's just a few tracks, mp3s would be better. IMPORTANT: if you want to send mp3s directly, please either email the above address above before sending. or use YouSendIt (it's free!) to send your files. Or you can provide links, of course.
- It's helpful to have some info about yourself and where your music can be had by the legions of fans who, no doubt, will now come flocking to your door after you've been heard on TExR.
- If your songwriting and performance royalties are not covered by LoudCity's licence agreements with ASCAP, BMI, Seasac, and Sound Exchange, we will assume that by sending us any material you are specifically granting us permission to upload and play your song(s) without need or requirement for further payment. LoudCity handles all of our licensing matters and we play by the rules in all good faith; but, as a simple matter of CYA, we want you to be absolutely, crystal clear on the following points: (a) this is a hobbyist station; (b) we're playing your stuff purely for the joy of the music, and although we really, genuinely hope it'll help you sell a CD, (c) we ourselves are already losing money on this; therefore (d) the last thing anyone needs is a lawsuit later on down the line. Thus, in sum: if the song is not yours to tout, and if you cannot or will not waive any and all financial liability that TExR might face as a result of playing your song and hasn't already paid, and if you're not willing to commit that to paper if we so ask, then we're not going to play your stuff. No exceptions; no deals; no extenuating circumstances. You have been told.
